Thankfully, there are lots of choices for fans of espionage and sneaking around in the shadows as opposed to tearing through enemies with explosives and machine guns. There's often a sense of freedom when it comes to the missions that can't be found in linear action games. The stealth genre generally forces the player to be more mindful when achieving their tasks. With the likelihood of a true entry in the series happening any time soon looking bleak many fans have moved on to different games to scratch that stealthy itch.
